Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus, Nina Council No. 43, was established in the 1880s at St. Mary’s Church.
The Knights of Columbus were first organized in Connecticut and later became a nationwide fraternal organization dedicated to the principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity. Initially formed for the purpose of providing aid and assistance to its own members and their families, in later years that aid has become far more widespread. Fellowship among members is promoted through education, charitable, religious, social welfare, and good works.
Membership is open to all Catholic men, eighteen and older. Meetings are held the second Monday of the month, at 6:00 pm in the St. Mary Church Hall.
