The Sacrament of Baptism
In the Catholic Church, we are baptized as a welcome into our Catholic faith and to be freed from original sin. Baptism is the first of the three Sacraments of Initiation, along with First Holy Communion and Confirmation. It is the foundation of our sacramental life.
