Lectors

Lectors

Lectors are ministers who bring the Liturgy of the Word to life. Men and women who accept this call are people of faith and lovers of Scripture with good public speaking and reading skills. The prophet Isaiah expresses this ministry well:

“The Lord has given me a well-trained tongue, that I may know how to speak to the weary a word that will rouse them.” Isaiah 50:4

If you are interested in becoming a Lector, please contact the parish office.

Prayer to St. Michael

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
